Our Story
The Home of Living Heritage
MELVA BALEMONG
Some places are built.
Others are remembered into being.
Melva Balemong was born from a devotion to preserve the living soul of Javanese heritage, not as a memory frozen in time but as a way of life that continues. Conceived as a home of culture and care, it brings together Joglo houses from across Central Java and restores them with sincerity, letting their stories breathe anew.
What we preserve is not only the form, the carved beams, the aged teak, and the rhythm of traditional spaces, but also the spirit that lives within them: the warmth, humility, and grace that define Javanese hospitality. Every smile, every greeting, every shared meal reflects a lineage of sincerity that has shaped this land for centuries.
Set amidst the highlands of Ungaran, the resort bridges centuries of craftsmanship with the quiet comforts of today. Every corner speaks of harmony between body and soul, between past and present.
Here, heritage is not something to be seen, but something to be felt through the care that welcomes, the calm that surrounds, and the gentle rhythm of life that moves within these walls.

To take ownership with care and pride. We tend to this place as something entrusted to us, not merely managed but cherished.
Setya

To be loyal and true in what we do. We serve with honesty and consistency, staying faithful to our heritage and to one another.

Our Mission
To build guest experiences with the refined etiquette of Javanese tradition, creating an atmosphere that is warm and memorable; while preserving and caring for cultural heritage as a living legacy for present and future generations.
Balemong's mission is to serve each guest with noble values and the timeless spirit of tradition. Hospitality is offered with the warmth and grace of Javanese care, sincere, respectful, and nurturing. Each act of service is a living homage to ancestral heritage, conveyed through language, gestures, and the atmosphere that surrounds it.
Balemong is deeply committed to preserving the cultural artifacts of Javanese heritage, where ancestral values, emotions, and wisdom are embedded. From joglo architecture and intricately carved furnishings to keris, masks, and other decorative elements, every piece is preserved not just as an artifact but as a living legacy, meant to be experienced, understood, and cherished.
